the rest is everything star wars really.
first off, jenefer and i watch family guy. i know, we’re going to hell, but it is funny, a little over the top sometimes, but funny. i prefer it over the simpsons. anyway, a while ago the folks over at family guy made blue harvest. the family guy star wars saga. (and for those of you who don’t know, blue harvest was the “working title” for the star wars films in both 1981 and 1983)
the blue harvest family guy is classic and hilarious. my only issue with it is that it is too short (it’s only episode iv), but supposedly they are planning on making episodes v & vi too.
the rumors have been spinning for a while but now it’s official. the clone wars, george lucas’ newest undertaking will be showing up in movie theaters in august. the “movie” will be a combination of the first three episodes of the show that will be on cartoon network in the fall…
but the biggest news is the release of the force unleashedwhich is the story of darth vader and his secret apprentice that takes place between episode iii and iv. the game’s release is so big that it has already been featured in vanity fair magazine. it already has it’s own line of toys as well as a handful of books that are coming out throughout the summer. the game will be released in august…
all of that to say, it’s a big year for star wars…
